Do You Believe In Women Preachers?

Our men only theolgy was born by our brethren in the Holy Church of Rome.

Now, having said this, I personally prefer a male as MY pastor.

But I do not have bible for no women preachers UNLESS I just pick out the scriptures that shore up MY idea of what I want it to say.

If I look at the whole book and weigh it all together, I can't see a clear prohibition of a women being used of God in the role of a pastor and teacher

In the five fold ministry that is how it is stated. what we often call two different roles in the five fold is listed together as pastor and teachers

When male or female had hid the word of God in their hearts, they are able

to teach. Call it preaching or whatever. But they that have allowed God to

qualify them are the ones He will use.

If male or female is in Christ, and are new creatures, they can do whatever

the Lord leads them to do. Jesus said in Matt. 23 that that every plant that

the Father had NOT planted shall be rooted up. Time will tell the truth of the

matter. The Bible says in Psalms 92:13-15:

" Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts
of our God.
"They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat (rich,fertile,green)
and flourishing (fruitful, blooming)
"To shew that the LORD is upright; he is my rock (strength), and there is no
unrighteousness in him.

Ps.1:1 Blessed is the man (human) who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But their delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law doeth they meditate
day and night. And they shall be like a tree, planted by the rivers of water that
bringeth forth their their fruit in their season. Their leaf shall not wither(dry up)
and whatsoever they doeth shall prosper.( blossom, bud, bloom)

I totally agree with you. I wouldn't want to sit under a woman pastor.

In that first century the women were told to keep silence in the church.

When I was a "child" my parents told me to "listen and learn". Children are

to be seen and not heard seemed to be the thing.

Women in that first century listened and learned. How else would young

Timothy had the faith that was in his grandmother Lois and in his mother,

Eunice. His father was a greek, an unbeliever.

As a child I listened and learned some things. My maternal grandmother led

the way as far as our family coming to the truth. She told me that if "he (the

man) won't do it, you do it. Someone has got to do it." She was speaking of

correcting children". I believe when there is a need, whoever is able to do it,

should it, regardless male or female. A need is a need and whoever is there

needs to do it. I have no desire to be a pastor, but you can be assured that

I can witness of His Majesty.

Incidentally, Jacob had twelve sons. What happened to his daughter. Where did

she disappear to! With 12 brothers and most fought like cats and dogs and "sold'

their brother. Who would want to live there!

I wouldn't want to sit under a male pastor either. It's just too uncomfortable!

I saw a woman preacher manifested in the flesh...does that count? If it does, then I guess I believe in them...

Most of you that would not sit under a woman is because you were not born in pagan darkness and it was not a woman missionary that brought light to your village...drowning men do not care who throws them a rope...
Maybe we should not straighten pictures in burning houses...
