Oh I drfinitely did which is why I made the comment.
They used scripture upon scripture, not out of context .
During discussions on here (like it will ever happen) we must remember that the WORD of GOD is the ultimate yardstick and everything else matters nothing.
Emotions and personal inhibitions cloud he simplest of issues.
Remeber GOD is not necessarily "fair" but he is Just !!
I, as well as several others, also used scripture upon scripture and not out of context.

Isn't it amazing how little the Word of God means to some folks?
You mean, like how you react to being told that the Bible says that Priscilla as well as Aquilla taught a man the Word of God, and that together they ran a church from their home??
Acts 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
Ro 16:3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
1Co 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
Php 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
Maybe you think Paul was calling them fellowlaborers because they were mean cooks and did his laundry, but that's not the definiton of 'labored with me in the gospel'. In addition, when we look at others mentioned of being a fellowlaborer, we consider those men to be ministers and preachers.
Go figure.
You continue ignoring these scriptures. I'll stick to the WHOLE Word of God.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
This is why even those who may disagree with you on some points respect you, Elder E...you don't discount the work or role of women in the Church.
I just do not believe it is Biblical for women to preach in public services to men, but have I heard women that could preach I most certainly have and did it extremely well.

I appreciate your spirit Bro. Epley. You remind me in ways of my first pastor. An humble man of God.
