I would see this as a result of a different reason than the proper significant use of a modest ring.

I would tend to believe this story, but it doesn't speak to me as a lesson against wedding bands themselves.

It's likely that it was a ring of great value and her priorities were obviously in need of rearranging. Not to mention it's not a good idea to exclaim what God can't do in such a rebellious fashion.

I'd say that the isolated instance was related to a combination of the two.

Fearful stuff indeed.

CORRECTION I was just corrected and what the woman said was I will never take my wedding ring off for anyone. I am sorry I was getting two stories meshed. But I stand corrected by someone whose memory is better than mine. But now I do remember. I am sorry.

How will you designing a ring (gasp!) determine if it is an ornament or not? Perhaps you should finally define what an ornament is and even define Jewelry. I've asked several times before

I am not making this up. I remember hearing about this years ago
I do not believe this happened at all, I attended a thirteen week revival with VB, and nothing of the sort happened.

This is the lengths some folks will go to support extra biblical doctrines. This sounds like a real active imagination. Do we want to talk about all the "miracles" that the RCC banters about?

Sounds like maybe her issue was not jewelry but pride?

If memory serves me correctly I understand it happend elsewhere too such as Texas ?

Didn't Verbal Bean have the power to pronounce Judgment on folks ?

People today don't believe in such but remember anninias and saphira? maybe that's what we need in the church today - a little fear and reverance

That's what I thought.

Then there is the story of a pulpit splitting in half...I guess that should be a sign God hates pulpits too

I didn't say it happend in all his revivals maybe not yours? doesit not mean that it didn't happen anywhere because it didn't happen in the meeting you was in ?
