But the truth is many are saying they still plan to fellowship with the UPC that they may or may not leave.
It kind of leaves you scratching your head.
Thing is ..... UPCI and the Tulsa thing .... whatever and if ever it gets off the ground .... are just groups of men who fellowship around a certain set of beliefs and causes. There are a myriad of differences when it comes to specifics as far as doctrine, holiness issues, etc. but in the end these groups/organizations/fellowships are just that.
The REALITY is that specific callings and anointing of God are lived out individually. What we do and accomplish for God on the individual level is where the rubber meets the road. This is the most important thing.
But who and what you fellowship with is important too. I've been on both sides of the fence so I know a little of what I'm talking about.
In my experience and from what I've seen of these groups that have splintered off the UPCI, they're basically dead in the water compared to what the UPC has accomplished over the years.
That just my l'il ol' opinion.

I did not say that you should only be nice to nice people, or that I am only nice to nice people.
Dora has posted over and over again little barbs, pointing out what she considers the inconsistency of "COON" and other conservative posters being kind to Felicity when felicity is not aligned with them ideologically.
I was pointing out to her that people find it easier to be kind to kind people.
And furthermore, thanks for the Scripture, but I memorized that one in the King James a long time ago. I'm not trying to "get credit," I am simply explaining for Miss Dora a simple fact of human behavior.

I think they are just saying that because of the unknown. No one really knows how this is going to come down and why would you want to cut off your nose to spite your face.
I honestly doubt they are going to allow them to be a part of both.

I agree Thad. There's no way this can be avoided if this thing takes off.

I will go on record agreeing with Thad here. There may be some good that can come out of it, but will the hurt of churches, families, etc. being torn be worth it?

Lord bless ya!
BTW you are truly a fount of wisdom rating a big "10" on the AFF Scale of Smarts!

Sis, your repeated sarcastic comments about my "wisdom" notwithstanding, I bear you absolutely no ill will, and please pardon me if I have inadvertently indicated otherwise.
Have I been a little exasperated at your catty remarks to Felicity? Of course. That's no secret.
But if objecting to catty behavior equates in your mind to a lack of compassion for your soul, you need to recalibrate your sensors.
