Well we went southern tonight. Pork chops, fried potatoes, green beans, biscuits and gravy.

We used a Christmas gift card for this fabulous new place here in Jackson! There is enough money left on the card for us to go two more times. Woohoo!!!

We had lima beans that I had cooked down for a long time....very long time with pork roast in them.. very good actually. Even my kids eat them. lol

We've had a crock of homemade beans with brown sugar and molasses in the oven since late morning. Just took those out and replaced it with a potato scallop. I made dessert - Apple Bars - kind of a cross between Apple Crisp and Date Squares (but with apples instead of dates). Just put those in the oven as well.

Also made homemade bread.
