If we shun the Trinity because it's unbiblical, then why not XMAS?
In Jesus Name
Brother Benincasa
It may not be consistent with the comparison you are asking for comment on but for me...at worst, Christmas is like asking if the meat you are eating has been sacrificed to idols.
We know that there are no such things as idols. They are lifeless, impotent, and major dust collectors. So lets not empower them with our own witch-hunt, making them into something that has dominion in our lives.
If a pagan did something in service/worship to a lie, a non-existent, man-made deity, how can that have ANY potency in my life unless I willingly do the same?
Pagan activity with their idols, including the meat they offered to these "non-eaters" is nothing.

My daughters will not be pleased with the new additions to their glory (hair) and my wife better not catch you on the street. As for myself the xmas photo of my family may just be a little funnier than the Randy Wayne Fisher Price Reckart toy.

Should we shun Preterism since it is in the bible as much as the trinity is.
Call me up Matthew let's talk about it.

Than celebrate his bithday on another day. The Bible does say.
This day in the city of David is born a saviour...
The non-christmas crowd almost wants to deny the virgin birth.
That is more of a spirit when it is looked at then celebrating the birth of the one person who saved your soul....
And this means that we should make up a day of celebration and commerce? O..Kay
