Looks like they may be able to manage this one....but pray! Goodness...this is incredible.
Just as an update....they say the fires are 100% out of control. Without attacking the fires from the air (the winds are so strong that it is dangerous to fly planes in) you have no way of setting up any kind of barrier.
This is horrible.

The fire that was started is about 2-3 miles from my home....seperated by a freeway.

I have family in Solana Beach/Del Mar, Escondido, Encanitas, Riverside, LA, and Oceanside. I pray they are ok!

Thad....it looks like our situation (where I live) is under control. PUNK KIDS!
I can tell you that parts of Escondido and Encinitas have been evacuated. Solana Beach/Del Mar and Oceanside...so far...are safe.
I can't tell you anything outside of San Diego County.
