They wanted to eat near the airport and their hotel so we ate at Darfons. I had the steak Oscar. It was good.

I rarely am in that part of town at meal time and that was the only restaurant I could think of that was not a national chain. I like for visitors to eat at local establishments. I had eaten there twice before over the last eight years!

Well...we have returned..........
We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the mall, the Parthenon, ate with CC1 and the Pianomeister, and just kicked back!
Last night we went through the "haunted sanitarium"...oh yeah...that was GREAT!
Met the man that played the original "leatherface" in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Got his and "Cooter" from Dukes of Hazards autograph and while we were at the Memphis airport..Alan Alda signed his new autobiography for me.

We really had a great time!
