I'm not an expert since my style for background is southern gospel or easy listening. Is it obvious I'm an OLD person?

I don't have time to read through this thread, but I will say that if you're just talking about music style, there is nothing wrong with rock. Our Edge band is rock-&-roll and the worship is deep and so awesome! They are doing a special service tomorrow night called "Passionate Praise" and I can hardly wait. I relate to the rock style, because I'm a child of the 70's.
No music style is evil, in and of itself. The anointing can fall on any style.
