Those pastors who send funds directly to missionaries are acting in defiance of the group they pay dues to and they're also doing a disservice to the missionaries themselves putting them in the position of also acting counter to the way things are supposed to work re FMD of the UPCI.

This thread should be closed permanently as it is totally impossible for any poster to know what is permissable to speak about. How very, very odd.

Actually, while I agree with some of your sentiments on the issue at large, you could have simply said "other forums" -then when asked by others to "PROVE IT!", given the names out here or in private.

Speaking as someone who feels he was banned a bit too prematurely recently, I think the mod is doing a good job here. The issue itself has plenty of built in fodder for discussion.

Although not having been a member of the org itself for over 20 years and not having any idea how the "giving" structure works between the organization and churches, I really have very little to add to this discussion, other then agreeing with the general statement toward the beginning comparing pastors withholding funds and saints withholding funds to the pastor.

What are you talking about??

The men have a right to do what they feel is necessary and not everybody agrees with everybody over there concerning everything just as we here do the same...

I'm not a member of Wordshare anylonger but still am a member of CAF...
