I've always thought, if you have the finances and fortitude, have 10, 20, 50! And yes, adoption is a wonderful solution for these couples and know several myself. One couple adopted a little girl from India, and she is now a gorgeous 23 year old!

Again, I am sorry for being a bit too flippant with my comment.
Thank you for coming back with this apology. It does take a big man to step back, take a look at someone else's point of view and then admit when they were wrong. You are forgiven, brother. I know that you meant no harm and were just trying to make a point. I guess we could all learn a lesson from this. Sometimes we are in such a rush to make our point that we forget that there are many sides to an issue and that there are real people out here reading who will be affected by what they read. Thanks again for being the big man. God bless you.

I do believe that there are people who, for whatever reason, choose not to be parents. And that is perfectly FINE. But I do not believe that those people should condemn those who do choose to have children - no matter how many.

I also know that there are people who choose to have as many children as God will allow them. They are financially able to provide for them. They have the stamina it takes to do it. And they have enough love, time and patience to do a great job. But I also do not believe those people should condemn those who, for whatever reason, choose not to have children.

These are very personal choices to make in life. They should stay PERSONAL.

Thanks for your very kind words and for accepting my apology.

I wanted to say this before but I feel guilty "debating" this stuff in THIS thread because this particular family really does seem to have it together and I have nothing bad to say about them..... ok, make that "observable points".

How many have seen any of their TLC/Discovery specials? I have and while it gives me a headache even thinking about it on a personal level within 5 minutes, I admire them as a family.

The consultation is a week from this Wed then the "procedure" is that same Friday, so a week from this coming Friday. Then it takes a little over a month to make sure all the little stormtroopers are gone.

Just a little warning for you: just because the procedure is done, that's no guarantee that the 'little stormtroopers' are really gone completely. My cousin had that procedure and several years later fathered a baby boy. Ooops!
