Chicago has many awesome special places to eat!!!
We had a nice dinner, though not where I wanted to go. I wanted to go to Yu's Mandarin Restaurant, but come to find out it was much further away than we realized...maybe another time...our anniversary is next month. (hint, hint) We do live out a ways, only 40 miles from Chicago, but that 40 miles can take a long time...traffic can be awful out here! After dinner, we browsed through Barnes and Noble for awile, it was nice. As soon as we got home we had torrential downpour of rain and thunder storms like you would not believe...amazing!

A steakhouse.

However, Lawry's Prime Rib is also in Chicago and it rocks!

http://www.lawrysonline.com/theprime...o_gen_info.asp - their creamed corn is very, very good!

I use to work for Lipton tea which owns Lawry's, so when we had our regional mtgs in Chicago we always got to eat at Lawry's!!!!!!
My husband is the beef eater, I prefer Chinese or seafood. I told him last night that I did NOT want to go to a steakhouse!

You're welcome! Sorry you didn't get to eat where you wanted to, but it's just food. It will always be there!

God Bless!

It would have been more fun if you'd been here for it, but it was your birthday, so being with your hubby was more important!
