I am guessing that God, in all his sovereignty, omniscience and omnipresence looked into this generation and saw you and decided that sheep would be a good animal to liken us to.

BTW.. there are no "But ifs" in the plan of salvation. When these men are, as you say, judgmental, it is not they but the Word of God that is judging. You may be simply missing that fact or you may be intentionally ignoring it for your own human conscience sake. Either way, you are wrong in your judgment of those who choose to challenge your firm belief in the plan of salvation.

I believe that Jesus Name water baptism is the only way. I believe that the way it is to be administered is by a minister of the Gospel submerging you in water FULLY, and calling that name over you while in the process. I don't have Bible to support anything else. Thus, I may not preach, believe, or receive anything else. I can't. We are talking about the Bible.

But, I don't see it that God would be going against His Word if He allowed for the formula being placed in a prayer before the dunking, or just before they got in the baptistry. That is His business. He would have to perceive that they were baptized IN HIS NAME in order to remain true to His Word. I don't know whether or not God can perceive it that way. I know that I have no proof that He will, thus I must baptize as I do. But, I will still never grow angry if God does accept it. So, if you think this means that I don't fully, with all my heart, believe in baptism in Jesus Name, I don't know what to tell you. Somebody said actions speak louder than words. I baptize, always have, by immersion in the Name of Jesus. I hope that speaks loudly and clearly.
