Re: 2nd Republican Presidential Debate tonight
Jeb Bush tried to paint Ted Cruz as a hypocrite for supporting John Roberts and then saying that it was a mistake. Cruz admits it was a mistake for him to support Roberts, but also pointed out the conservative nominees that should have been picked and then pointed out the consequences of those decisions.

Re: 2nd Republican Presidential Debate tonight
I don't doubt Trump will end up in the White House. LOL!
"This is how the debate began, with Carly refusing to go after Trump when given the opportunity. Trump took a serious shot at Rand Paul who then hit back at Trump as a juvenile. But Trump got the last word."

Ted Cruz is getting rave reviews in the Frank Luntz focus group.

I hate Luntz focus groups. Just dumb, fake reality TV.

I do think Trump did well. I thought he would disqualify himself sometime (even if its not until early 2016) because of his dumb comments and insults. BUT I think he did well enough to show he's legit.
I still don't think he can win but he's interesting.
I'd say I like Cruz far and away. Then Donald and Carson and Huckabee. The others do next to nothing for me.
I can't stand Firorina, Christie, or Kasich.
I'd still probably vote anyone whose against Hillary.

Re: 2nd Republican Presidential Debate tonight
Jake Tapper cut him off and ignored him more than on this issue.
I wish Tapper would have allowed him to respond.
Quote:
Ted Cruz: PC Moderator Ignored Me as 'Climate Skeptic'
Appearing after the debate on Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor," Cruz noted that he tried to jump in on the global warming debate, but moderator Jake Tapper cut him off, saying many candidates already had discussed it.
"The moderator asked folks who ran away from the issue and were afraid to take it on," Cruz said. I tried to jump in and say 'Hey, you want a skeptic, I'll be one,' and the moderator didn't want me to answer that."

Turned on Newsmax for the first time tonight. Meh. Definitely behind in tech & graphics. But balanced. They will gain some Fox viewers

Re: 2nd Republican Presidential Debate tonight
Senator Ted Cruz Post Debate interview with Bill O'Reilly
He did mention he didn't get the air time he wanted which he also acknowledged that is what happened at the Fox News Debate as well.

Re: 2nd Republican Presidential Debate tonight
This was, IMO, the most awesome moment for Cruz at the debate.
I understand that the time he was given makes him look like he isn't important, but he has more support than the media is allowing for. And when he spoke, he spoke with substance, as he always does.
SEN. TED CRUZ: What President Obama wants to do is he's run to the United Nations and wants to use the United Nations to bind the United States and take away our sovereignty. I spent five and a half years as the Solicitor General of Texas and U.S. Supreme Court and I went in front of the U.S. Supreme Court and took it on and we won a historic victory saying the World Court and U.N. has power to bind the United States, no president Republican or Democrat has the authority to give away our sovereignty. If there is anyone up here who would be bound by this catastrophic deal with Iran, they are giving up the core responsibility of commander in chief and as president I would never do that.
