Considering the very harsh things God said of his own people via the prophets, could we not accuse God of the same sort of "bigotry"?, or do Jews as large group do things at times to infuriate their host countries?

My point is, is their really any validity to the "poor Jews who always get persecuted for no reason" line? I emphasize that is a QUESTION. I'm not claiming to have the answer.
