That does not say he was filled just as we are/were. In fact this just states he was FULL of the Spirit not that He had been filled (as though he once was not)

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It says both Jesus and Stephen were full of the Holy Ghost....
Luk 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Act 7:55 But he [Stephen], being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God
For them to be full of the Holy Ghost, they had to be filled at some point in time.

Re: Who Is The Holy Spirit?
Seekerman is doing his same evading as always. Nothing new here. Col. 2;9 is problematic for his argument. It's plain to all that he simply ignores it. I told him previously that it was the same Spirit who dwells in us to regenerate us that filled Jesus with a Messianic anointing. We don't dispute that it was the same Spirit. But all the fullness of Deity does not dwell in us bodily as Col 2:9 describes. Seekerman is an intellectually dishonest person.

Nope, not true. I've asked over and over and over and over what dwelled in Jesus that did not dwell in us. Never an answer though.

In us..the Spirit of God to regenerate us and baptize us into the Body of Christ.
In Christ..all the fullness of deity in bodily form.
Seekerman, does all the fullness of deity dwell in you in bodily form?

Nope, again and again I've pointed out that I'm not asking for the purpose of the Holy Spirit in us, I'm asking for you to identify what dwelt in Jesus that doesn't dwell in us. You're repeatedly evading an answer.

I repeat.
In US dwells the Spirit of God. The fact that I stress how and why he dwells in us does not change the fact I answered your question. He indwells us to regenerate us.
In Christ dwells all the fullness of deity in human form. In other words, in him dwells the Spirit of God by virtue of the fact that he is the embodiment of the Spirit of God.

This is amazing. Really it is, even for this forum.
Again, I'm not asking about the purpose of the Holy Ghost which Jesus, and Stephen and we are full of, I'm asking what infilled Jesus which doesn't infill Stephen and us.
Jesus was filled, as was Stephen, with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost led Jesus. You're seeming to suggest that Jesus had an infilling other than the Holy Ghost though, something you repeatedly will not identify. God has given Jesus, as well as us, the Holy Ghost but is there something in addition to the Holy Ghost which indwells Jesus? That's the question you're not addressing and by now I know you're not going to address it.

Seekerman, i don't care what you are asking. The fact that I included that information does not negate the fact that I answered your question. Is anyone "complete in you"? Have you been exalted to the right hand of the throne of God? ( Acts 2:33) Can you give anybody the Holy Ghost? No. Why? Because in you does not dwell all the fullness of Deity in bodily FORM.
Absolutely yes there is something that dwells in Jesus that does not dwell in us. The Spirit exalted Christ to be the head of all principality and power. Are you the head of all principality and power simply because you have the same Spirit in you that Jesus has in him?

What is it that dwells in Jesus that doesn't dwell in us? You keep reverting to the purpose of the Holy Ghost in Jesus and in us but you're not identifying what, other than the Holy Ghost, is inwelling Jesus but isn't indwelling us.
We have the Holy Ghost in us, Jesus has the Holy Ghost and.....what in Him?
