Randy Wayne, are those actors all from the south, or just playing a part? I'll tell you one thing, they do a sorry job imitating the southern accent. That Heat Of The Night, and Bubba missed the mark with the accent by a long shot.
Oh Well, it's all in fun, and back when we did watch Heat Of The Night, and my children loved Dukes of Hazzard.

I hope no one took me to mean that I don't like southern people. That is the farthest thing from the truth!!! As I said, I have alot of southern relatives and friends. There are good people everywhere. And there are nasty people everywhere. I'm just saying that after my experience in Barbourville, I wouldn't want to make my home in the south ever again. Maybe if I could live close to where my family lives - but not in a place where I don't already have an "in" ever again.
Some of my favorite friends that I've made here on AFF are firmly established southern folks

I was born and raised in Florida joined the Navy the summer of 1981 to get away and retired out of the Navy in California.
I never planned on moving back unto almost 3 years ago something moved in our soul so we laid some fleeces in front of God and He left no doubt.
We moved to Jacksonville.
