I did. A few times. BC always seemed alright by me. No extravagant claims that I ever witnessed. No inflated or unreasonably large numbers were claimed. Of course, that does leave out all of the Ethiopian stuff. I was not there.
From what I have seen of him in this hemisphere, however, I'd have to say that he probably was very dependent upon the "local help" in collating numbers and such. If that was the case in Ethiopia, then I can see how those numbers ended up being so inflated. That Oneness movement over there, the folks who would eventually peal off the UPCI over the "Divine Flesh" issue, often made huge unsubstantiated claims - and still do at times.
If I were to blame BC for anything related to that, it would be due to his naïveté and always wanting to see the best in people and in any circumstance. That puts him in a far, far different category than a flagrant fraud like Benny Hinn, imho.
