People want to see us walk the walk that we talk.

Right. Then it is up to you to show those you are addressing consider themselves morally superior for not having TV.
Also, they would have to preach againsts the evils of having TV, not just evils of TV - If a preacher never preaches against evils on TV, internet, etc. he isn't worth a dime IMHO.
I believe the more we have TV in the homes the more we must preach about making wise choices and shunning the evil on all mediums.

I don't have to prove they (those I was addressing) are morally superior. I was speaking of nonchristians.
If I, as a Christian, say it is wrong to watch tv because of the evil that is on it and then I watch tv, would you not consider me to be a hypocrite?
If I was a preacher and preached against having a tv and I went to a hotel and watched the tv in the room when none of the church folks are around, would you consider me to be a hypocrite?
This is not an argument I want to continue.

I need writing lessons from Bro Strange.

On The Other Hand........ Chaotic_Resolve has hit a nerve with some as well by stating phrases like "many preachers." Not ALL preachers are on the net getting the sermons and lessons they teach. Nor do all small six member churches show the preacher to be a hypocrite. It would do any of us good once in a while to call a Forum-Fast and try to win someone.
I wonder sometimes if I am the biggest grammar offender Bro Strange see here.

Alright we are mostly on the same page.
I would venture to say most who do not have TV do also not believe it "is wrong" or sin to have the same.
So my point is, your comments only apply to a limited number of those who don't consume a steady diet of television programming.

I think television is a moral sewer that may have some good rolls flowing on top whereas the internet is an information medium that might have some horrid things available.
I have NEVER been to a porn site not has a porn site invite ever popped up on my computer. I would not know how to go to a porn site someone would have to show me. However If I was to turn on a television within moments I would be offended at the garbage on it according to what I read in the tv listing guide in the newspaper.

This is a very wise statement. You hit the nail on the head.
Let's face it. Apostolics have T.V. in their homes. To deny it is to avoid the obvious. Therefore, in light of these FACTS, what you have said above is the only logical conclusion.
To preach against the invention itself, will drive many Christians away from the church. So, the issues of the heart must be dealt with, which will not drive them away but rather mature them to walk in this world without walking WITH the world.

Do you post to Everyonesconnected or Myspace? If so, while not pornographic, sensual ads for dating services run on both. Both are used by many apostolics.
I have a very hard time believing the bolded part. Sorry, but I think you're more intelligent than that.

You're correct, not all preachers are . . . but I do know "many preachers" that do. And it's not just preachers and pastors, though I believe that's where it begins . . . many saints are fat, comfy and lazy themselves. (and I speak to myself as well)
We saints want to pray and expect God to fill our churches, while Pastors want the saints to fill the church and have revival so they could get their name in the PH or some other media form.
HQ should do a poll with licensed ministers (publish it in the Forward) and ask a few questions:
Have you given a Home Bible study within the past 3 months?
How many hours do you personally spend on outreach each week?
How much time do you give to prayer and study?
They could do the same with the PH and have ballots sent to churches for the saints to fill out.
I bet the results would be surprising . . . and perhaps even embarrassing.

I have NEVER been on either and have told our saints NOT to be on them. I am NOT being humble I am very computer illiterate and had to have help to get on here. I would NOT have a clue as to how to get on a porn site and since I have no need to I am happy being ignorant.

That's cool. I'm on both, but you're probably not surprised by that.
Keep on being ignorant!
*and I do mean that in a good way*
