Nope, he was doing it years ago. He has always reached out to those that he considered might be open, actually have something to give.

I remembered as a kid he rented the a movie theater and took the entire church to watch the Late Great Planet Earth, well to a 8 year old Kid that was the stuff of night mares, I hid in the bathroom the whole time.
