It shouldn't come to that for the military:

AP
House Speaker John Boehner, center, gestures while speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill April 6.
House Republicans are planning to bring yet another stopgap budget bill to the floor in a bid to avert a government shutdown, as negotiations over a spending package for the rest of the year falter.
The proposal would be the third short-term budget bill in two months. The prospect of voting on another stopgap has frustrated lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, some of whom have vowed to oppose one. But while dozens of GOP members defected the last time around, House Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., told Fox News he has enough GOP support to pass this bill without any Democrats.
“We don’t need one Democratic vote,” he said.

Well the statement about hating Obama was directed at me. I made it clear that opposition to him is purely ideological. I think BO as President of the USA is bad for America and the world. I could say that I think a certain sports coach is bad for the team, the program, the university and it doesn't mean I hate him.
As far as his birth, that is a legitimate constitutional issue. I personally highly value the Constitution. I think if it can't be proven he was born in America and no one does anything about it, a dangerous precident will have been established.
As for the rest of your post---its really ridiculous.

Your exageration is a form of dishonesty.
The reference to "blowing them up in the name of Allah" is an example of a false accusation.
Putting words in the mouth of others or telling us you know what they are thinking is off the mark in several ways.
I suggest you consider a fast from left wing media where the harsh rhetoric you employ is generated.

Ah Shucks. When they are sworn into office they swear to uphold the constitution. We must have forgotten that.

Heard that too and was surprised. They will either change that status during a shut down or they will prevent the shut down.
Let's look at this whole situation:
* BO and the Dems had complete control of the Executive and Legislative branches. They did not come up with a budget for fiscal year 2011. Obama is quoted today in USA Today saying, "At a time when you're struggling to pay your bills and meet your your responsibilities, the least we can do is meet our responsibilities to produce a budget. That's not too much to ask for. That's what the American people expect of us. That's what they deserve. You want everybody to act like adults, quit playing games..." Seriously? How does this guy look himself in the mirror? Do you know why they didn't come up with a budget? It was an election year and they know in the current climate they would've taken a beating because most Democrats and all liberals can't control their urge to spend, spend, spend. They got their butts kicked anyway and it forced BO to cut taxes and gave some leverage to the GOP-led House to provide leadership on the issue.
* The government was operating at a trillion dollar plus deficit for the year. The Republicans offered a budget for 2011 that cut spending by $60 billion, a drop in the bucket, but a start nonetheless. What did the Democrats come up with? A paltry $4 billion. The White House? A meagerly $6 billion. These guys had a whole year to come up with a budget and this is the best they could do?
* Harry Reid says something to the effect that Social Security and Medicare are healthy for a good long while. Intepretation? "I don't have the guts to tackle the real problem with our deficits and national debt so I will pass this on to the next generation to deal with." What a coward!
* The Dems finally keep increasing their cuts in spending to finally reach $33 billion. But the GOP House won't budge, and they shouldn't. These guys are not serious about addressing the real issue. They couldn't come up with a budget when they had no impediments. They came up with insulting figures when forced to do so. Now they want to act like they're serious? If the GOP gives in here, how will they convince these guys that they have to think of serious cuts for fiscal year 2012 when it demands TRILLIONS of dollars in cuts? If they give in an inch, the Dems will be emboldened to fight every step of the way. They probably will anyway, but the GOP needs to stand firm and be courageous, not cowardly.
Its humorous to hear about bipartisanship once the Dems have lost full control. You never hear about that when they have all the power.

That was an NBC poll. Other polls that have proven to be more accurate over time have him in the low forties.

Naturally the higher number would be touted...what was I thinking????
Well, hopefully the low 40's at least shows the American people (voter) are paying attention.

Hyperbole. That's what it's called.
I actually enjoyed the honesty of your post, and I won't change that even now that my post was "ridiculous."
In other words, let's be clear that you are not like many of the Obama haters out there, according to your words. Most of the others are suspicious of his faith, listen to Hannity specials about his connections to terrorists (and imply fear about what his Presidency may be all about), question his birth, declare him evil even (I've heard many Conservatives even on AFF say as much), etc... You, sir, are a rarity that you can hold your politics away from your heart, and show strong dissent for policy and ideas without demonizing the man.

Dear Captain Not-So-Obvious,
That's called hyperbole. It's a literary tool used to make a point. Learn about it, then open your mouth.
