Ya, I was actually the Saturday night DJ at our local Christian contemporary station as well as DJ-for-Hire. Most of my gigs were ballroom based but also did weddings.

I tried to allude the police in a 3 mile chase, whan i was 17.

The chase ended when 4 shots were fired behind me.

This was in 1967 and I was driving my 57 Chevy Bel Air hard top. I don't think the cops shoot at ya for speeding anymore.

Anybody else been shot at? or be involved in a high speed (110 mph) chase.

I also use to drag race, then became a track announcer at Cordova DragWay..home of the World Series of Drag racing.

And I'm probably the only one on here who, at age 54, broke a date with a terrific lady because I was too nervous (and too stupid) to meet her. That happened this past Sunday. My excuse? "I've got stuff to do". And I wonder why my phones not ringin'.

Quick, somebody write a book on how to date past the age of 50!
