I LOVE stats. I've been a numbers freak since I discovered baseball in 1975 when the Big Red Machine was the rage. I wish I knew as much about the bible as I do baseball. I'd be a better pastor.

And yes, Ohio Pastor and B4nicea.....I LOVE baseball!
Yes, it was Jon. He is one of the best. His call on Uribe's home run was stellar!! "DEEP to left field, and it's WAY back, WAY back, and it's GONE!!!" (Something like that)

It's amazing how each play, no matter how different it is, a number or another time in history can blend in to enhance the game.

People think Baseball is a slow sport, but when that still moment is shattered by the crack of a bat and ball, and the once quiet voice and fans rise to anthem a play, there's nothing quite like it!

I thoroughly enjoy when rookies break the ice!

Since Crakjak likes stats:

The last 9 teams to win game one of The World Series at home went on to win it!!!!

Now... let's not get too cocky... but I'm just sayin' (responding to his post about the Giants losing the Series in 2002.

Thanks for "letting" the Giants win. Ha.

I'm just glad ESPN put the Giants as the underdog in this post-season... again.
Let's see, the Rays were big favorites, came to Arlington and won the first two, Rangers went to TB and won two, then to Arlington and one the last one. (best of five)

Wash says everything is OK, we are not done yet!

We didn't win the first two, we creamed you guys the first. Granted, we need 2 more, but I like our chances!

The Giants certainly made the Rangers look bad tonight, yes, creamed us. We came back in game one, with a final score of 11-7. Yes, beat, but we didn't exactly lay down and quit.

Yeah, you have reason to be happy and optimistic, but it isn't over yet.

Means nothing in this series, the Rangers can get very hot after being very cold. The Giants should be afraid, very afraid!! LOL The fat lady isn't even in the ballpark yet, because she knows!!
