Campmeetings, not necessarily youth camp, were never meant to be church growth seminars or Choir seminars. They really do seem to be intentionally about an entire group getting together and having a good time of worship, fellowship and spiritual renewal

Campmeeting and youth camps were the best times of my growing up....sorry about all you bitter, soulsick, angry, folks who must have had a bad experience at them.

Who had a bad experience? I made the softball all-star every year. I loved it!!

Anytime you'd like to have a homerun derby with me, I'll be glad to trounce you. I've trotted around the bases hundreds of times. And I haven't played in 5 years!! I'll still take you!!

Probably so...softball was never my game...enjoyed it but it wasnt my fave...now basketball... played it at camp every free moment...
