Yep... but God can forgive him if he learns how to pray!

I'm just getting back home at 1:50 AM. Amazingly, I only held him twice - the first time for about 2 minutes and the second time for about 2 minutes. NOT that he lacked for someone holding him, however, with...

  • 1 great grandmother
  • 2 sets of grandparents
  • 2 great aunts
  • 3 aunts
  • 1 uncle
  • 1 second cousin
  • 1 youth leader and wife

... and about 15 other Saints from the Church in the room at one time.

Yes, I left and went to the waiting room down the hall to read the news. Frankly, there were some parts of Hell that weren't as hot as that room was and the line for a cancer cure wouldn't have been as long as the one waiting to hold the baby.

Finally they all left (except my wife and I and my Mother-In-Law) and I spent a while looking... and crying... and praying... and looking... and crying... and praying... and... well, I think you get the picture.

Surely God is better to me - Grandbuddy or not - than I could ever deserve.

I am a blessed man.

Congratulations to the ' Bro Steadfast' family!

Actually, he doesn't have an 'alien' look to me. Already looks several days old! So sweet....

Well, yesterday I had some 'Pastoral' situations that kind of took the joy out of having a baby. (ONLY a Pastor would understand that) However, this morning I awakened at the rising of the sun, tapped my wife on the shoulder waking her up, and said, "I have a grandbuddy!".

I was up and gone in short order. TODAY I feel like a Grandbuddy... and THIS is what I rushed to get my hands on.

Sorry... I just couldn't help myself!

Still am thrilled about your new addition.
These are one of the few instances in our Christian walk where one has leeway to be proud.

BTW not to change the subject but how did it go with preaching for those other denominal Churches if I may ask?

My grandmother always said when a baby smiles like that while they are asleep, the angels are talking to them.

That is a precious picture. Congratulations, Steadfast!
