Hoovie, At least us threadjackers did vote... or at least some did...
To get back on thread... I don't like the idea of full body scans, but I also don't like the idea of bombs going off on planes I'm on at 20,000 feet... If I have to make a moral choice between one or the other, I'll go with the first. I'm morally opposed to someone strip searching me, even in a scan, but I'm more opposed to being blown to bits, in other words.
Of course, at the same time, I was picturing a new line of airport "security" underwear... something that would prevent full scans from being, uh, fully scanning.
That's a good point!
I get a kick out of the alternative to the scan... a FULL BODY pat-down!

Did you say something offensive to us here? I'm not sure exactly. Did you say we are nymphs? what's a nymph anyway? do you know how hard it is to type that word when your eyes keep trying to go closed? You think I maybe should take another pill? and how's come the smiley face at the top of this is white while the ones on teh right side are multicolored? I better go to bed and check in later.
Margie, can I buy you a drink? Pills and Schnapps... happy New Year's Eve!

About 6 yrs ago , flying alone, I was pulled from the line for the "extra" check.
A female did the body pat.
They really check the contents of your purse , etc
