This is just not true.

The economy was Bush Sr's undoing!!!

That and the fact that he specifically promised the American public, "No New Taxes" and as a Republican, he raised taxes!!!

AWESOME MOVE SHERLOCK!

Killing babies is not right, promoting the sin of homosexuality is not right, usurping the God given rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness is not right....is it?
Rev, I think the points that many are trying to make are:

a. politicians on both sides have demonstrated to not operate by "principles, morals, or ethics"...so checking R is not necessarily a vote for those things

b. the country has appeared to be driven down "the current path" regardless of which party is in the White House, selecting Supreme Court Justices, or in control of Congress.

The great fallacy to me is that some people seem to have adopted the mindset that "every Christian is a Republican...and every Republican is a Christian". They're basically interchangeable adjectives in some circles and mutually inclusive, and there are plenty of career politicians who are happy to take advantage of that.

I agree that folks from both Parties are flawed individuals....bad seeds on both sides.....liars abounding. But the ideals of the Republican party (although I'm hard pressed to see much follow through) seems to be aligned more with a Christan stance then the current Democratic platform. Individuals aside; which Party's platform do you believe more closely aligns itself with Judao/Christian Ethics?

My position is that neither Party is going to save us for eternity.

PS. DWW is better than Rev.......

No, I'm not saying flawed. I'm saying intentionally and with a great degree of skill and calculation, playing proper lip-service to a group of people whose blind and unconditional support they covet. All the while with the growing realization that they don't have to deliver much...as long as they can present themselves as the pure and Holy alternative to the evil Democratic politicians.

I was in the market years ago for a car. This salesman showed me all kinds of pamphlets that touted just how good this car was. After listening to this sales pitch I bought it. At first it didn't bother me that it didn't quite live up to all the hype the salesman gave me. As time went on I realised that I had been sold a bill of goods. Nothing the salesman said was true. The car was a pile of junk. Again let me say nothing the salesman said was true.

The republican party is like that salesman, they promise morals, family values, ficiscal responsibility and smaller government but just like the car salesman they lie. Their actions speak louder that words.

Ok, we get it, you see all the flaws in the Republicans, but can't seem to bring yourself to do the same with the Democrats. It gets so tiring when all someone does is point and say 'but see, there doing bad things too'......Mote and beam comes to mind. The Republicans and Democrats seem to have lost the whole idea and purpose for Government being of the people, by the people , and for the people. Time to clean House.....and Senate of all members who say one thing but do another and those who hate the high ideals this Country where founded upon.

DWW when republicans stop saying Democrats don't love America, that we don't have morals then I will stop pointing out what you call flaws but in reality are lies.

By your name REVDWW I assume you are a minister.
If that is so let me ask you, what are some of the thing that HAVE TO happen for Jesus to return?

Lying is a fatal flaw if one does not repent of it.

Can't you see the Democrats have lied to you just as much as the Republicans?

I'll agree with you that all liars need to be voted out of office not matter what the party affiliation!

Start another thread to discuss you last question please.
