Makes me crazy.
I'm afraid we have gotten out of the way.

We say we have the truth,we don't warn anyone of anything ,[ I do and it seems nobody listens. I just get wierd stares, even from those in church.] It bothers me.My pastor teaches that there are no prophets now,Is this a prevailing doctraine in the Apostolic Church?

That's a pretty "evangelistic use of the term "OUR" isnt it Pelathais.
Or are you really connected to some group that acts like that?

Maybe because there isnt anything God wants us to prophesy doom and gloom over?

Re: Urgent- From David Wilkerson's Daily Devotiona
Im sorry folks, but I dont see a reason to believe this cat.
Every 15 minutes for the last 2000 years someone has "prophesied doom and gloom.
No doubt from time to time someone is actually hearing from God and their word is true.
More often than not, its just another case of a blind hog finding a nut.
Lets be honest, time after time, on AFF/NFCF/FCF I have seen someone give us the dire warning that something terrible is about to happen. vertually every time, the warning has failed to produce.
Yet here we are once again the end is near and lets all run for the hills!
Git a grip people. The fact is, weither or not some preacher somewhere is screeching about the next bad thing, we ought always to be prepared for emergencies.
Eventually America will be attacked in some aweful way. Some of us reading this very thread might very well die from a nuclear bomb going off in America.
If God doesnt come back, eventually America will follow every other nation that has risen to the top. That means it will fall from the top.
This is simply the march of history.
So here is my advice.
Stop listening to blind hogs. eventually one will make thier claim, then something bad will happen. But that doesnt mean that Hog had the goods.
Second, always be ready for emergencies. have an action plan. Know what your going to do. But not because of some wacky religious prediction. Do it because ITS PRUDENT.
Then go about living your life WITHOUT FEAR.
Trust God.
Love people.
Build for the future.
