I heard a derogatory term for Mexicans used a couple years ago that I had NEVER heard used before. Not sure that automatically makes me "simple" or not - I just hadn't heard it.

Like I said, I don't care enough about what people who I don't know think to get mad about this, but I think that somebody involved in the creation and dessimination of this cartoon was fully aware of what implications were there. It would be impossible for that many people to see this cartoon and not realize the underlying implication. I just think that they are in the business of creating sensations (particularly this paper and this illustrator).
But once again, I honestly had no intention of giving this more than a passing thought.
