In China, it was implemented by MAO. I think...

In the U.S. of A., has to do with one of the World Wars, men was overseas, and the women had to do the factory work. A dress would have got caught in the machinery.

Does God want gender seperation?

What is it for our day and time and culture?

If we go by the culture of 2008, is that neccessarily a good thing??
Has our culture improved or declined?
