Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
I realize that Bill O'Reilly has been trying to get him on The Factor for months. However, I don't think that O'Reilly should have accepted his coming on tomorrow night under any circumstances - even if that were his only opportunity to interview him.

Oh, yes! That was awesome!
And this:

And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves.
I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer," except that you have actual responsibilities. I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
Anderson Cooper just asked, "Do the Democrats know how to deal with her?" CNN folks are sitting there trying to help the Democrats plan their strategy. They are saying that they should probably not attack her directly but keep emphasizing that electing McCain will be 4 more years of Bush - which is not the case. Sickening how biased they are.

Bill doesn't want him to be President - it was a perfect time to bring him on - when he can in no way steal Palin's thunder. I think it's perfect timing.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
Just heard that a "Democratic" investigator is looking into her "alleged" abuse of power.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
I still think it will be taking some of the thunder out of McCain's night. I think it should have been next week. I think he should have respected McCain's night as McCain respected his. I think the timing is horrible.

Well, actually we came back to back with their convention and that's not usually done.
But, I wouldn't worry. It's not going to change anything.
My other Forum is saying that it just occurred to them that Palin reminds them of "Lois Lane".

Somewhere tonight though the Obama campaign is licking their lips. From what I gather, she's in support of the unending commitment in Iraq, drilling more oil wells, and tax cuts for corporate America and the top 5% because it'll trickle on down to the middle class.
Not one mention of the major economic trouble. Not one mention of the home foreclosure crisis. Not one mention of helping those who don't have health insurance coverage or other issues American's are concerned about.
She, once again, highlited to the American people, almost position by position, point by point, how close a McCain-Palin ticket would resemble four more years of Bush-Cheney. I think the Obama Campaign is smiling.

Mike, you must have a subscription to the DNC "talking points", almost word for word?
