You really think I should back down on my beliefs? Call it what you want. Everything that I've said has referred to "me" and "I". Women can wear pants and men skirts in your church if all I care. I was just stating the facts according to your churches website. Everyone on here has been to accomedating with me and my move to Dallas and has welcomed me (wether consevative or liberal) to fellowship with them in their church, however just because someone states that they feel your "statement of faith" is watered down should mean nothing to you.

Your still going to pay tithes there arent you? Your still going to get up Sunday morning and bypass hundreds of other churches just to go to your church. Why should you care what someone thinks of your statement of faith. Be proud that your website says nothing about being APOSTOLIC or HOLINESS or STANDARDS or WATER BAPTISM! Thats a choice you decided to make.

If the rest of your members at ALC is like you, then I truly dont want to visit.

Now go run and tell that to your Pastor that you are on an Apostolic message board running people away from your congregation before they even get their.

Your just like those people at the Potters House. As soon as someone wanted to question why TD Jakes wears an earring in his ear, they all were ready to fight. Answer the question and move on.............

Remember DerrickS, one more member at ALC equals one more gallon of gas your pastor gets to put into HIS car to get to church to preach to you. 500 less members with you left equals your pastor living in poverty and seeking employement elsewhere. Be nice to the newbies and dont get annoyed if someone finds something oddly strange with your statement of faith.
