Whew, we had a pretty close call here in Springfield, others in the area didn't fair so well though. There was a major storm heading for Springfield (involving tornadoes) and the storm band stretched for a long ways to the north and south, however just as it got to town the storm broke up missing the entire city of Springfield...All we got was rain and some wind, but nothing serious...However many homes were destroyed on to the west as the tornadoes were headed this way.

speaking of microwaves.........???........... when my hubby and i were dating, we were playing a canasta, and he told me to go sit in the microwave and turn it on......... AND I cried.........  I was so dumb back then!
