It was during the lunch break on Friday. They had never met so I invited Pastor Willis to join for lunch and he graciously showed up..

How many are they running now?
Tamor sorry missed this before. They had 270 on Easter, regularly run 150ish.

The single most amazing thing is they went through a crisis (NOTHING AW did wrong! Know how rumors get started here) a few years ago and church attendance went WAY down.

Now the church is almost exclusively first generation Christian (yep not first generation Apostolic)!!

Very dynamic church for its size. My youngest daughter recently went on a youth retreat with his young people. She was the only one out of 15 who had Christian parents, and the majority were the only ones in their families who go to church at all.

IMHO opinion he has accomplished more than many churches running 1,000 that are primarily made up of transfers.

These are the kinds of stories I like to hear. Folks getting out there and showing the love of Christ to those who don't know. I could care less how many people a church has if all they did was take folks migrating from other churches.

Thanks for this report.
