We went out. Bennigan's. For starters, we had Guinness glazed boneless chicken wings and potato skins. I had Guinness fish and chips and a glass or two of . . . something. No room for dessert.

Ok. Just so everybody knows, my potatoes turned out absolutely NASTY!!!!!! They didn't believe me until one of the girls tasted them and she said, "OMG, Sis. Carroll, you weren't lying." I am not kidding, they were absolutely horrible. I cooked them yesterday morning and didn't have a lot of extra time to make them up, soooooo, like a dummy, I left them in the water on the stove with the heat off, btw, and went so SS and them came home, and mixed them up. They were the most disgusting potatoes I've EVER in my life made. They were thrown out to the dogs. I don't know if even they ate them, may have buried them.
Leaving them in the water caused them to become extremely starchy - never a good idea, but I guess you know that now.
