Re: Please Explain the Existence of Dinasour Fossi
Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun. Ecc 1:10 Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. Ecc 1:10 Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
This passage is used to try to lend credence to the theory of a "prior creation". Theres more, but, can't recall them just now.
The "move" to heaven, according to this belief, was due to the rebellion of Lucifer. When "angelic beings" were moved to heaven, Lucifer could not enter and was cast down to earth and ruled the earth. He had dominion of the earth which resulted in mans fall (surrendering to his own "freewill). Like I said, there are some small smatterings of truth here and there, but most of it in one mans opinion.
And, in that "perfect creation" all animals were docile, which explains the "lion laying down with the lamb". Dinosaurs existed between the prior creation and the presnt creation. So they say (which is supported somewhat by science).

Off topic some, but this group had an odd way of explaining the Apostolic teaching of the New Birth. They taught that the Plan of Salvation (Blood, water, Spirit) "un-did" the natural birth (blood, water, life (spirit). I can't remmber it exactly but it was something like...
When a baby is born, blood, and water comes with it . Then when the baby takes a breath (life enters in). (Evidently they don't believve life at conception).
In the New Birth, they teach that Blood is applied on the convert. We are baptized IN water, not out) And when we recieve the Holy Ghost, we breathe in the newness of life. In other words, everything that is done at natural birth, is done in the complete opposite order. The Baby has blood and fluids (water) on it when it is born, which is cleaned off. In the New Birth, they teach Blood is APPLIED (put on) as is water. We "put on" Blood and water through repentance and baptism.Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Water, when it is applied in Jesus' Name (Yes, they baptize according to Acts 2:38), somehow "stays" on us throughout our lives, keeping us "unspotted from the world". They use this Scripture to support that: Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, By studying the Bible we are continually baptized into Christ.
The Holy Ghost comes when God "breathes on us" as he did with Adam, and as Jesus did with his disciples. However, no one, can recieve the Holy Ghost until they have "put on" His blood and water. Anyone see a problem with that?
They teach "tongues" is proof that one has "put on" Blood and water and has been SEALED with the Holy Ghost. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Once that is done, you can never backslide. If you do, you have no more chance at redemption. Hbr 10:26 Its really odd. "Tongues" is almost like a secret "password" to show people you are still in the faith. They don't greet one another with a "hello" or "Praise the Lord" They speak briefly in "tongues" to one another as a greeting (and to say, "Yep, I'm still sealed with the Holy Ghost" (they don't say "filled" or "baptized", which is another oddity).
You'd think these people were very "Amish" or "monk" like. But they aren't. Very "liberal". I don't know if these people are still in existence or not. They were a very small sect way back when.

Just a bit.
