I'm thankful for my first opportunities to preach, which were in a United Pentecostal church.

I'm thankful for many friends who were United Pentecostal who have showed me much kindness.

I'm thankful for all the experiences, the wonderful camp meetings, revival services and great fellowship that made up the early part of my life in church. I'm very thankful that there is was and will be a UPCI

God bless all who labor for the gospel sake

It's OK to have an opinion.....

But this should really mess up the thinking of all those folks that think you HATE the UPC.
You know OP i was thinking last night after a little exchange on the board here that I am sure that every one on the board here must believe that I despise it and I want to set that straight. Probably some of the negative passion in my posting is a result of the fact that I do care and my belief that it could be so much more than it is.

I was thinking about camp meetings late last night and how I loved and missed them.

They were our only family vacation for years and years. Softball, church morning and night, fellowship by a campfire in the wee hours of the morning. Leaving and going back to work feeling like you were ready to take on goliath

I remember those times as well. The camp fire and softball were my favorites... We had some great camp leaders at Ohio camo when I was at senior high camp as well..

Amen, Thumper. Even though I'm no longer a part of it, it's my spiritual mother, and I'll always love it.
