That’s where I disagree. If the move you are referring to is the move to WPF I think once the dust is settled it will have the reverse effect.

At our church we have so many new people coming to our church because they are sick and tired of what they are seeing at there local church.

Our building project must go on the fast track because in very short time we will not have places for them to sit

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong .... my memory may have failed me.
As I recall, there was some question with the original count of votes. Bro.
JK was the one who requested his name to be withdrawn because he did not want any question as to the validity of an election. The conference verbally refused his request. JK was elected.

That being said, WM has always supported his elected leadership in his district.

STX sounds better... We use to have an STD district here in the Philippines but made a resolution to change the name and the Acronym to make it sound better...

Re: Wayne McClain disaffiliates his church

When did someone accuse WM of being power hungry? I don't recall anyone ever accusing him of this. Nor has anyone ever said he was not a good man of God. He is a good man - but he can be a little hot-headed at times. He has thrown out accusations that his neighboring pastors were too liberal and has refused fellowship with them other than at district meetings. Makes one wonder if he is afraid of proselyting. As far as I know, none of his neighboring brethren had any intention of stealing his saints.

I'm not surprised at all that he is joining the WPF. He'll be happier with them...

There is not a finer man in Pentecostal than WM. My dad went to school and graduated with WM and He will tell you that there is not a finer Christian in the world than WM and my dad was raised a good old Baptist.

Got pictures? That doesn't seem to even come close to what I've been seeing, but you're probably in a different part of the country.

Really though, Dandy? So many ex-UPCers are flooding into your church that you have to build a new building just to seat them all? So many folks who are "fed up" with the fact that the "ultra-con" juggernaut appears to have lost a little steam that they're walking out of the UPC churches in droves?

I'm certain that you're a very honest and sincere person, but I would like to gently challenge your assertion. I do so not because I disbelieve you- but I'd like to really see if that's the case somewhere.
