I can tell you that I was sure of the answers...months ago...now I am not sure of anything, but that Timmy is the coolest fool on AFF...next to me of course. LOL
I think from a redemptive angle sure we all deserve death...but from the Jesus angle no one deserves death because didn't Jesus take care of that for everyone?
Crakjak and a few others seem to think so.

Ok, you seem to be disagreeing with yourself now...not really "back" yet, all day on some VPN to Revoltistan, or somewhere...
And I wonder about our def of "death;" I tend to believe we often read "death," when "Spiritual death" might be more apropos--and I suggest maybe checking out other models, Christian models, even. I find Matthew Fox compelling there, but there are others.
But I would def run from any preacher talking "fear of hell" now, or any other aspects generated by the Original Sin model. I'd sooner believe "the South will rise again" lol.
"Everything in Christ astonishes me. His spirit overawes me, and (H)is will confounds me. Between (H)im and whoever else in the world, there is no possible term of comparison. He is truly a (B)eing by (H)imself...I search in vain in history to find the similar to Jesus Christ, or anything which can approach the gospel. Neither history, nor humanity, nor the ages, nor nature, offer me anything with which I am able to compare it or to explain it. Here everything is extraordinary." Napoleon

I am reading this book right now! It is a great book and from a very open minded point of view. Another good one to read (from an agnostic point of view) is Case for Christ.
Both books show that no matter how you try to explain away God/Jesus, it is just impossible to do in the light of history and the effect Jesus has had on the world, and continues to have to this day.
