Prax I gave you all I have. It just seems logical to me if I am going to see you I have to go where you are. I think this is what is being said here. I believe the city is a literal city the Bride will live in. But are you going to answer my question is the city of Rev. 21 the church today?

Brother, Im not trying to pull your teeth here lol..if you just don't have any way of refuting the hard clear grammatical evidence of these verses that show the bride is that holy city, then Im not sure what it matters what else you bring up. These verses stand unrefuted

Thad the passage is Ezk 28:12-19
It speaks of all the precious stones that were his covering then it says his heart was lifted up BECAUSE OF THY BEAUTY!

Thus jewelry and pride are partners in the original sin.

Prax I think you see the trap you place yourself into by saying the city is the church thus you are hedging. At least I am NOT hedging. Might not agree but I did answer.

Brother...that clearly shows the the Bride is the city and that the city is the bride. What more proof do you need?

Whether or not the city is the church? Does it say it is? And if it is....the how do you escape the fact that the church is adorned with ungodly, evil jewelry?

I never said the city is the church, lol. And yes you did hedge by not answering my request to show HOW the city is not the bride
