See my post on him. He was a montanist. He might have seen them as evil like Muslims do lol, but that does not make them gay. Being gay does not mean hating women. He might have been twisted in his mind but that does not make him a homo

Shunned all? Maybe, but I doubt it.
I've known some of these guys who talk about how that they can do more for God by remaining single and celibate. I don't know hardly any that do any more for God than most sold out saints and preachers.
It's all talk, mostly. And it's usually just a cover.

My point was that it was part of their theology
A stronger emphasis on the avoidance of sin and church discipline than in orthodox Christianity. They emphasized chastity, including forbidding remarriage.
