Thank you all who have been supporting Michael in this endeaver. Our hope is that we can capture FIRST place. Our concern is that someone may overtake us since many are likely doing reverse order voting too (with Michael at the bottom).

So your vote matters alot and publically telling us about it keeps morale up, inspires others to vote and keeps the thread at the top of the list!

OK, it is sometime between 4 and 5 EST. I was awaken from blissful sleep because it APPEARS that the contest is over!

In re-reading the contest rules; I think they have messed up and there is the potential they may reopen. However, I could be completely wrong (especially at this hour of the morning) and we are looking at just waiting for results.

The rules say voting is over at 11:59 PM PST on Aug 28th. If it meant to say 12 am PST on Aug 28th; I agree that the contest would be over. However, I would tend to agree with my son that 11:59 pm PST should have meant later on.

Or something or other. TOO TIRED TO figure it out.

The bottom line is that it appears the fat lady has sung; and the contest is now officially closed.

Win or lose; we gave it our best shot! I wish to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work, persistence and dedication to the cause! You guys have been fantastic, wonderful, terrific, unbelievable, and above all KIND. THANK YOU.

If I find out anything more before work; I will certainly share it with you. Otherwise, it appears results will be announced sometime today and officially cast in stone on the last day of the month.
