An entire different platform is being compared here ...

Social networking w/ a discussion forum

The conspiracy theory is laughabe and insults the poster's intelligence.

Thanks for extending the tactical metaphor.

The point I attempted to make was that whatever it was, it was not done in some hissy fit of emotion, with squealing and angst and upscuttle.

While, on the other hand, I have read page after page of emotive outpouring here about how awful it is that there is another forum that doesn't let everybody play.

The countermeasure, if you wish to call it that, grew out of an ever-increasing disinterest rather than some "I'll take my toys and play somewhere else" type tantrum.

At least that is how it was for me.
You'd think we were talking about churches rather than cyberspace.

Re: Forum is Ex-Pentecostal??

I don't know if Whoppers and Big Macs are the right analogy ...

considering the open forum that AFF is ...

the private forum JP is ...

and the social network that Synadelfos is ...

Maybe a burger, taco and chicken sandwich would be more fair.

Did I miss something? I haven't seen page after page..........Amos, are you talking about this thread only, or the entire forum?

Maybe someone can point me in the direction of those posts.........all page after page of them.

There were a couple of deleted threads, Brother Phelps, where some folks had gotten banned from the "other" forum.

On those threads, it was thick.

Re: Forum is Ex-Pentecostal??

I think it is a little disengenuous to say that it's silly to display angst over an internet forum when much of one's social life is built around several of them.

We wouldn't be here if it didn't matter.

Oh, I do give you credit for that.

I didn't mean to be offensive.
