This is a very slippery road.
The Bible says it is OK to speak in tongues, yet Paul said it was better to prophesize.
The Bible says it is OK to eat, yet it also warns us about overeating.
The Bible says it is OK to have sex, yet it also sets the rules on who to have sex with (A woman) and when (After marriage)
The Bible says to pray for the sick, and yet it is OK to seek doctors, but it also warns us about only relying upon doctors.
The Bible says it is OK to drink wine, yet it warns us about getting drunk.
We could go on and on for many more subjects, but we have to understand that we have to take everything that the Bible says about any subject, instead of just a few selected verses, for by being highly selective just about any doctrine can be taught.
The point is to take everything the Bible says about any subject or area and from the whole teaching of the Bible develop a doctrine that agrees with all the verses. For we must remember that there are no contradictions in the Bible only perceived contradictions.
