The quiz team's used to sing

Jesus thinks I'm special cuz I'm one of his kids.
If I'd go on sale he would bid the highest bid.
You don't have to be cool...to be in His crowd.
I can just be me and he'll be proud!

Amen!

We probably shouldn't go there.
It could be because of the huge psychic sign flashing the message....

No, it is more metaphysical than that

I"m new on AFF. I"m not familiar with Rhoni's past story. I have been reading
this post with interest. I haven"t seen where Rhoni has denied or disavowed her Apostlic/Pentecostal beliefs, only that she was leaving a church denomination. Denominations don't save you It's you"re obedience to the Word of God and your walk with God that makes you a Christian. I really
don't see how denomination determines whether or not you are a Christian.
I thought what made you a Christian was being Christ like.
Peace, Sinatra

Thank you Frankie.... I think it depends on what a person is looking for in my posts: If a person is looking for a reason to put me down or criticize, I give them plenty of ammo. If you are a person of peace - you will see me clearly.

Blessings to you,
Rhoni

I can't decide if this is a fair assessment or not. Maybe it once was, but I don't think it still is.

I don't know that I truly ever expected perfection from preachers (or anyone for that matter). It's just that I thought that they expected perfection from me. For so long, I thought so little of myself. I thought I was so thoroughly flawed, so fundamentally broken, that I couldn't attain this perfect spiritual life that they seemed to require. I felt so helpless, like there was no hope for me. I think if anything all I wanted was for other Christians to admit that this perfection was impossible.

I could tell you that I am different now, because I am finally at peace with my past, and myself, and my God. But I won't try to convince you of that, I think that over time my posts will reflect it.

As I tell my children, if you are looking for offence, you usually find it.
