O Theophilus, I agree. Allow me to reiterate in an effort to reassure the lowly pawns.....There is no need for anyone to be worried about the ethics of these holy men of God. KG will be addressing the Tulsa conference on the subject of Ministerial Ethics and Character. If anyone there is unethical they will be dealt with in an ethical manner by the presently forming ethics committee. I understand there may still be open positions on that particular committee so rush right over and sign up now!!! Be reassured that everything is on the up and up and stop being so cynical. The WPF means no harm to anyone. They simply want to provide a wholesome wholly holy place of refuge for all good battle-scarred conservatives....and any mod-libs with strong missions programs.

KG should tell his congregants that he's leaving ... they've been praying and fasting for him to make a decision about a departure ..... since about October. They are still waiting on his decision ... it's the ethical thing to do .

I can tell you this -- not everyone on the General Council OR in the various committees/councils will be giving up their license in the UPCI. At least, not any time now. Take it for what it's worth, but I am absolutely certain about this.

It seems then if some will keep their UPC affiliation, then the move to WPF isn't a matter of principle. Could recognition play a roll for having their name shown up as council member. Either you leave completely because you say it is a matter of principle...but holding two affiliations begins to question motives.
