Let us know how it feels when you finally get the opportunity to shut the mouths of the so-called haters.

Another case of legalism. He has ethics that won't post the information in a public forum, but he has no problem in passing along the info via pm...

No one is calling you a liar. We do suggest based on evidence your favorite restaraunt is The Waffle House.

Nothing I like more than shutting the mouths of haters!

So, if ya want the info, I will provide said information via PM. I will follow the example of Bro. Strange and not name names here.

a person can be confused, misinformed or whatever and not necessarily a liar. Would you expect someone to receive my word about you based on just what ONE person says, particularly when it is such a damaging testimony? Sorry bro but the bible says out of the mouth of two or three witnesses , not out of the mouth of one and you are just one.

  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

Ok Tina, I take a 100 word challenge is crazy but I am only a reader through pages 39, but I think that will get the flavor.

BroStrange visits LA camp meeting for the first time in 20-25 years on Wed? night.
His spirit was heavy though glad to see old friends, saw a similar form but not a similar spirit to the old ways. He sensed an overall shift in the general atmosphere, including the music (this is where the chanting discussion got some bandwidth).

A person known as one who moves in prophetic ministry was asked to lead prayer preceding offering. During this the phrase “uncommon seed for an uncommon harvest” was brought forth. This phrase seemed to do a couple of things in the spirit of BroS. 1)stirred a recognition of a ancient spirit back as far as Balaam 2) brought a confidence that this prophet was inclined to the teachings of Murdock and his Wisdom Cathedral(?).

Dan, (La district minister) also in attendance, advocated for the person at the center of this exchange; he knew his character, ministry and the mentoring this person had under Barnes and TFT. Dan has been a consistent voice charging BroS as being in error in his interpretation/discerning of the spirit.

This thread spawned the uncommon seed for an uncommon harvest thread.

BroS responded to the contradicting viewpoint [Dan’s] saying that prophets can be in sync while being susceptible to being pulled out of sync with God. He indicated how he had seen this with men greatly used in the prophetic gifting. His own ministry had to confront the manner and style in which he would operate with this gifting.

Following evening service is with JeffArnold, BroS is greatly encouraged.

This is all really quite laughable. A few months ago another well know evangelist was taken to task by folks on one side of the fence for taking an offering in a way they felt was offensive.

Here, on the other side, another man is taken to task.

Seems to me that what we really have here is a major does of inconsistency and anyone who can read ought to be able to see that. If we like the guy then he was okay. If we don't like him, then, how dare him take an offering like that. JMO.

I am reminded a couple months back a thread was started to promote a blog which one of it's participants ia a ultra conservative brother. The conservative brother wrote a blog about being a voice not an echo. It garner many accolades including from myself. I made the observation the words were just as true coming from this conservative brother as they were when Rod Parsley said that a few years back.

I was raked over the coals. There were insinuations that I touched God's annointed when I suggested his topic was already preached in charismatic churches.

Why is it okay for a conservative brother to say something that a charismatic has been saying for years and MB cannot utter a phrase under the unction of the Holy Ghost that has been said by a charismatic preacher?

Even I didn't go as far to sugguest this conservative poster was being influenced by false doctrine. I agreed with what he said. My point was my first contact with this concept came from a charismatic preacher. I was encouraged by the blog. Why not give MB the same consideration as one would give a conservative minister? I'm willing to check my ego at the door.

WOW........... toooooooo much to read!

all i know is....if MB told me something...i would take it to the bank. I have that much faith in him. he pretty much got his start in our church and i respect him in every way.

as for the "spirits" or whatever......dont know about that??? i do know there was a GREAT spirit of worship every day. i do know that people were not leaving the services....but praying and worshiping. normally people try and leave early to beat the crowd.......not last night....people were praying EVERYWHERE! great atmosphere at the la camp grounds all week!!!!
