Looking at the standings, it appears that the Cubs, Brewers, and Cards are the top three teams in the NL. It's too bad that one of them won't be able to make the post season! The wild card race will be between two of those teams!

You are correct! Nobody expected the Cards to be this good before the season started.
I'm looking forward to the Cards and Brewers battling it out for SECOND place and the wild card!

As of today (Aug 18,2008): Cubs 5 1/2 games in front of Brewers, and 7 1/2 in front of the Cards!
