I might not agree on every point, but they are very informative.
I don't envision a real "fight", I see us as brethren who are fencing.

Fencing?
Aquila, you have taken out the axe handle more than once.

Elias, make a desperate attempt to post your 1500+ year chain of thriving church succession that follows your EXACT view of 3 step salvational doctrine...or hell prevailed!
After he does, Benny, you be ready to post Elias a big high five and greet him with a brotherly kiss.

Oh, I got mine started. It's a Newton. You know, like John Newton, the writer of Amazing Grace... who according to you... never received the grace he experienced that inspired the song. lol
Every time you sing that song in church, I want you to think of me EB. Because you borrowin' other people's stuff and condemning them. lol

Are these guys even Apostolic Pentecostals themselves? It is interesting how we get into these discussions, that those who supposedly believe in Jesus name baptism and tongue talking? All of a sudden believe being nice and spiritual is what gets you into heaven.

If your mower was a John Newton it is locked solid. The pull cord would snap. Amazing Grace because he read it, and never had it. Sorry, but writing songs isn't a prerequisite to heaven. Or else Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the Sky got him entery through the pearly gates.

Re: Billy Graham
I contend that upon faith unto repentance, one is justified. Upon baptism one is identified with Christ. And the Apostolic practice is to baptize in Jesus name. And upon Holy Spirit infilling, one experiences regeneration.
If John Newton's faith was genuine, he received justification. Therefore, it is God's sovereign prerogative to condemn or have mercy upon John Newton predicated upon his being justified by genuine faith or not. Can we know for certain that Newton's faith was genuine? Not on this side of glory. We'll have to find out. The same goes for any other "Christian" throughout the ages, including Billy Graham. We'll just have to wait and see.

Oh, I'll know, because that's when you start making fun of my testimony of being burned on a lit stove as a child by my step parent.
