I watched Senator Cruz and Senator Frankenstein and liked what I see. But, I understand way too well the whole picture, the senator from Texas has as much finesse as a dog passing gas at a wedding.
I mean every gun owner, tea partier, and right winger drooled like a Pavlovian dog when they saw Ted cooking bacon on a gun barrel, but that is just one portion of this country.
A country who applauded a man dressed like a woman on the cover of a magazine, a country who lighted up their white house in fag flag colors. They don't want Christian Gun Toting President, they already had that with GEE DUB, and the people are still trying to get over all the wounded over in Walter Reed.
Hey, I would love to live in your Texas only dream world, where everyone is conservative, no homosexual pride parades, no Stonewall celebrations, no young women so tattooed that they look like Yakuza bosses, everyone is listening to the Cuban preacher father telling everyone that evolution was designed to teach people atheism so they would be communists, so, so wonderful.
But it isn't going to happen nation wide, it really seems that this country is being turned over to Satan so that it would learn NOT TO BLASPHEME. You see my dear sister the clock is ticking and God is allowing the pieces to come together, instead of answering phones to try to get some three god cosmelan grease fried bacon eater to the presidency, maybe you should be on your face praying that God doesn't incinerate everyone in this country to a charred briquet. We would be fools to be lulled to sleep by any politician that we have not scrutinized, and held him under the hot light of criticism. Because when God sends His wake up call, do you really think your Baptist candidate could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?
Absolutely silly (and foolish) to think just because you vote in an Ultra Conservative Lawyer politician he will make all things new again.

Well, of course, I disagree that he dropped the ball at the IDC meeting. After all, the Ex. Director is informed by a Journalist, no less, about the bad actors at one of the tables, Cruz was informed before he took the stage. Something strange in that. And the Ex. Director of "In Defense of Christians" states, everyone knows I ain't devout. Something strange in that as well.
You keep instructing us to fall on our faces before God, but you also project no hope of a favorable outcome. Something strange in that.
I think that England prayed and God sent them, with all of his flaws, Winston Churchill who is quoted to say: "To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour."

Doran said three people were banned, the boos, and murmurings were coming from the room. The senator from Texas, took a situation made it worse, and exploited it to garner American Jewish vote. A totally classless act. Yes, dear sister, he dropped the watermelon.

Sister, what he needed to be informed about was who he was addressing. He wasn't addressing a group of Pentecostals, Baptists, and Charismatics dispensationalists at a Night to Honor Israel. It was over 900 Middle Eastern Orthodox, Coptics, and Maronites, he shot himself clean through the foot, he didn't even wrap his rifle barrel in bacon.

Very strange that being such an newbie to speaking with Orthodox he didn't do some homework. Rep. Charlie Dent must of climbed under the table from embarrassment since he knew that Senator Ted Cruz stepped in it that night.

Sister, a man saying that he is not devout, can have a plethora of meanings, but you would like to twist his quote to fit your agenda. Yet, also in previous posts you have employed Doran, only to shoot him down when he disagreed with you. Now you want to continue you to use him even after you posted to me that I shouldn't believe him? Sister you are a politician!

Sister, didn't you ever sing the song this world is not my home I'm just a passing through the angel beckon me from Heaven's Open doors? Sister, this world isn't the prize, we seek a heavenly kingdom, we seek to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Not Ted Cruz's vision cosmelan cooked bacon, and another Middle Eastern war with Syria, and Iran. Listen I don't need Obama health care, and I certainly don't need the Frankenstein Monster Ted and his cronies are going to think up. You are to live a godly life, win souls for an eternal kingdom, as a good soldier not getting entangled in civilian affairs, but rather trying to please Jesus Christ your commanding officer 2 Timothy 2:4.

I know British who would beg to differ with you, and some would say that the Germans who were starving to death before the rise of Hitler were given Hitler.
Sister, you are just convinced that Ted Cruz is a messianic figure come to make all things new again and to restore a "Baptist" Nation and we can all dance skipping side by side into a Brave New World Order.

Three people were sitting at one table - Okie Dokie.

Yea, he didn't know about that kneeing down and kissing the ring thing with these people who have no power in the Middle East with God. Dry clean that nice robe and put on a white one at the Easter and Christmas service. Black for Good Friday - lovely, the purple for pain and suffering. The red in the photo I posted represents the "blood of the martyrs". How fitting for the event - perfection!

I doubt it. Charlie Dent along with Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, et al, blamed Ted Cruz for the government shutdown, when in fact, it was the WH that refused to budge and shut it down. They all also predicted we would lose the Senate over the Obamacare filibuster. Ted Cruz predicted we would win with a landslide. Ted knows what the American people want. We did win and now these same people are not keeping their promises. Ted Cruz is the Senator who has kept his conservative promises - kept them from the outset, which really ticks off the majority of Republicans. So, you can cheer Charlie Dent, but he also holds to the GOP Establishment party line.

That was plain English to me - “Anyone who knows me knows I’m not particularly devout.” You can skip around that all day, if you like.
If I testified with that language at church......

I do sing and like that song. But, while I am singing it, I am also not sitting in the corner with my Bible holding a cyanide tablet either.

I don't believe, in the least, that Ted Cruz is a messianic figure. You're taking the conversation into a hysterical bent.
What I do believe is that he is a Patriot, that he loves the United States, loves and believes every word of the Constitution that he memorized way back as a Sophomore in High School and today is willing to lay that all on the line while he pushes back against his own party who has not kept one promise to their constituents.
You see, I voted for him. He is my Senator. He has kept his promise to fight for us and so now I support his candidacy for President.
Not a Messiah, just a Patriot.

Great Administration that Ted Cruz will bring us.

OK, so you interpreted his "one comment" to mean that he doesn't know anything about Orthodoxy in the Middle East? You are working down at the Campaign office? Here you go folks, this is what you can expect from the Cruz Administration. Making American free one misrepresentation at a time.

Sister, thank you for showing us why we can't support your candidate, because he (as well as his followers) should be wearing hoods and sheets.

Charlie Dent under the bus!
How convenient.
The senator from Texas spoke of the Washington Cartel he was fighting against. Yet, he has followers who also work like the Mafia to assassinate the opposition. What gang mentality. So, Charlie Dent's testimony on how utterly clueless Candidate Cruz is concerning the Middle Eastern Christian is negated because he criticised Cruz on the shutdown? Farcical
This clearly shows us that anyone coming against Cruz will be demonized. I think you are changing your religion for 'STATISM" your Pope being Ted Cruz.

What the American people want? They want fags dressed like women on the cover of magazines. Young women so tattooed they look like Yakuza! Follow the money! What sells in this country, what is in their media, who are their idols, that is what the American people want. They want booze, beer, drugs, money, and the sickest that money can buy! Politics and science isn't going to place a band aid over that 50 cal bullet wound.

Hello! Ground Control to Major Tom! Sister I'm not cheering Charlie Dent, I just posted his credentials for working with Middle East Christians, and his observation with the clueless senator from Texas. Sorry, no applause for anyone. Charlie Dent KNOWS the Middle Eastern Orthodox, and was on the front row watching the Cruz Nitro Circus, while Ted did a back flip into the foam blocks. If you don't stand with Israel then I don't stand with YOU, nah, nah, nah. Grow up with that sad sad display of cowardice. He is going to be president? How about if you don't stand with Jesus I don't stand with you, or If you don't stand with the Bible I don't stand with you, or if you don't stand with AMERICA I don't stand with you??? No, he might as well said, if you don't stand with Luxembourg, I don't stand with you. How sad you refuse to see the truth.

My mother wasn't particularly devout it didn't mean she hated Christians, or was back people who were against Christians. I'm not skipping around anything, you are misrepresenting the quote and placing a spin on it to say what you want it to mean. That's not being honest. If you asked Doran his faith he would tell you he is Orthodox but NOT DEVOUT, which could mean ANYTHING from going to every mass, to not believing everything the church teaches, to only attending on Xmas and Easter. You want to blow it out so your candidate looks good. How sad is that.

Wait, you posted that you would be with Ted till the end. That's strong word, and you say you love the man, that is devotion. You posted that you know he may not win, that's faith. You cannot serve two masters, Ted isn't a Christian, Ted is a politician, a lawyer, and that IS what he IS. But don't worry about the cyanide pill, you have already taken the blue pill and that kills also, but just slower.

Sister, go back and reads the posts. You are the one who lays on such strong emotion on this individual. If anyone would see you having this much enthusiasm voting in the janitor, they would think your were being a bit odd. Yet, since the time of kings, and Caesars, great emotion is placed upon them because they are god figures. Not saying you believe that Ted is god on earth, but you do keep pounding the drum that this man is going to straighten out all the ills of this nation. Stop terrorism, repeal EVERY WORD of the Health Care act. Is he a Monarch? Sure sounds like it through his campaign promises. Sister even when you are shown clear evidence that he at times doesn't have a clue, your cognitive dissonance kicks in. That is a cult mindset. Yet, you refuse to see you are falling for an actor, who can't possibly deliver the stuff he claims to say he will deliver. Not even if he has eight years, will he be able to produce what he says he will produce. Remember Washington Cartel? All he has to do is point back to this "Washington Cartel" and blame everything on them. He must of had an imaginary friend when he was little.

Sister, that is nothing but a sales pitch for the 1950s, we aren't in the 50s, we don't have the money of the 50s. We are facing down some future bad situations if we don't get a handle on what we spend as a nation. Cute little Saxophone playing on Arsenio Hall show with Bill Porno Filthy Clinton, and Ted Psy Ops Cruz with his rifle barrel wrapped in bacon doesn't help us. These guys are on the same team, they all work for Goldman Sachs, Eli Lilly, and MONSANTO! Sister, is Heidi Cruz a member of the CFR?

Sister, being a senator from Texas, is one thing, straightening out the vomit we are wading through now is another. This nation is planning to becoming a godless nation fit for the reapers blade. Work harder to get people into the true country, the heavenly Jerusalem, through the water way in Jesus name.
A solider doesn't entangle himself in civilian affairs.
Maybe you can get Ted Baptized in Jesus name?

How is Cruz going to war against the Washington Cartel if he stocks his campaign and congressional staff with establishment neocon insiders?
Operation Paperclip?

We've discussed the issues enough, neither of us relenting, and so I eliminated the beginning of your post as it is redundant for further dialogue.
I believe that regardless of a person's personal beliefs, that don't always match the Apostle's doctrine, God can and does use men and women.
Winston Churchill would walk about the city after a bombing to check on the people and see how things had gone or were going.
He is quoted saying, to his bodyguard, "There is someone looking after me besides you."
His bodyguard asks, "You mean Sgt. Davis?"
Winston replies, "No, (pointing a finger to the sky) I have a mission to perform and that person intends to see that it is performed."
Now, to your remark about Christians staying out of civil affairs, you'll have to speak to God about that one. Before George W. Bush was our Governor, the Lord told me in prayer that I needed to pray for him and his wife as he would be our next president.
How would I know that unless the Lord revealed it to me? He wanted me to pray for them, and I did. So, if we are to stay out of political affairs, you'll have to speak to God about it. Apparently, God is very much involved and uses his people as well.
BTW, let me come back to add, anything we become involved in, whether it's a hobby or politics, shouldn't be put on the front burner before God. It's a no-brainer.
Ted Cruz 2016!

Last night, he was referring to some of the men and women on the stage that he felt, even though unable to win, such as, Ben Carson, would be valuable to his Administration. He'd check Ben Carson on the 2A rights.
